J Wong's opened the end of 2009 at 163 West 200 South in downtown Salt Lake City. J Wong's offers both Thai food and Chinese food. Although each cuisine has its intricacies theres a good reason why J Wong's offers the best experience in both food styles.J Wongs is owned and operated by the Wong family. The Wong's have heritage from both China and Thailand. They grew up visiting and traveling in both countries, experiencing all the flavors Chinese and Thai food has to offer. Learning from both sides of the family different recipes gave them the knowledge and know how on both sides. Their parents also have worked in and owned several Salt Lake restaurants before J Wongs.The Wong's used all their prior experience and know how to prepare menus and ideas that would eventually lead to J Wongs. Their concept included fine casual dine in experience that also offers a full bar and asian inspired cocktails, a take out and delivery offering for those on the go, catering, and a private banquet room. Although J Wongs is new to all Salt Lake City restaurants, it has been recognized from the beginning as one of the best. J Wong's Thai & Chinese Bistro has received Best Chinese Food in Salt Lake City from 2010-2014. Has Received Best 25 Restaurants in Salt Lake 2015-2016. Best of State 2012-2016.

Greek Souvlaki was founded in 1972 by Lee and Mary Paulos. They were the first to bring yeeros (gyros) to Utah. It was a family visit back to Greece that sparked the idea of a restaurant. Lee's brother, Tasos Petropoulos, owned a small restaurant serving yeeros in Pireaus and Lee noticed that the tourists loved them. At first, Greek Souvlaki only sold three items: yeeros (gyro), souvlaki, and beefteki. The red sauce was the specialty sauce, in fact white sauce was added many years later! With Mary's home made recipes and Lee's inventive and creative mind, they added many other items to their menu. The business has grown with two additional stores since Lee and Mary retired in the year 2000. Great customer service, good quality products, and absolute dedication was the recipe for success. Their sons Frank, Leo, and Chris have taken over the business and are using that same recipe for the future of Greek Souvlaki!

In 2001 two Cache Valley brothers, Greg and Neal Chambers, had an idea to bring a unique flavor to Logan, Utah. Unlike conventional ovens used in most pizza restaurants. Firehouse uses stone-fired ovens, cooking pizzas directly on the stone hearth. This gives our pizzas, pastas and sandwiches a unique flavor that has come to be appreciated by our guests.
